I have chosen a card for each sun sign which represents the energy around you that you have to work with for the month. Some cards have more to say than others, but I have tried to get to the core of the issue for each sign. To see what these cards look like, please check out the tarot section on this site and then look up the particular card referred to for you for the month. You may also combine the signs using your sun sign, Ascendant and moon signs for a more in depth look at your month ahead.

Reversed cards are only used for timing purposes. They mean that the energy will happen in the second half of the time period. In a year’s reading, they would be 6-12 months down the road. In a month to month reading, they would be the second half of the month.

ARIES
I chose The Emperor Reversed for you this month. This card’s energy represents very stubborn or inflexible energy. You seem to think you are right about so many things, but may not have had the opportunity or time to look into a matter closely to investigate it. You are quite intelligent and logical, but you are hiding a very sensitive and emotional self on the inside which you do not want other people to know. Your have much wisdom and knowledge, but perhaps don’t always use it. You are wearing armor in the card, so that suggests you are trying very hard to protect yourself and your vulnerabilities. You need more balance, more time for yourself, have to get away from work a little bit and lighten up! Enjoy life for a change. Stop trying to run everything or to be in control. Things will go a lot more smoothly if you try to see other people’s points of view. Yes, you are frequently right; however, not always. Becoming more grounded, centered, stable and focused on your tasks and objectives would be a good start to accomplishing your goals easily.

TAURUS
I chose The Page of Wands for you this month. This card’s energy represents blessings from Spirit and new beginnings in health, career and/or schooling including formal education, lectures, seminars, workshops, teaching classes, reading, etc. You are finally looking in the right direction and all of your goals and objectives will finally start to formulate and come true. You must go after your dreams now as many opportunities will be given to you; if you choose any one of them, you will be on the right path towards your goals. If you procrastinate, the opportunities will pass you by. Good card for those who have been having recent health problems because your health will improve or your doctor(s) will finally figure out what how to cure or treat you. Don’t give in to depression and be more logical about things that are important. Emotions are very high right now, so calm down, think about your future and try to follow a plan of action that makes sense.

GEMINI
I chose The Ace of Swords Reversed for you this month. This card’s energy represents that in the second half of the month, you will be blessed by Spirit to resolve your conflicts, problems, obligations, responsibilities, etc. All your doubts and fears will finally be handled in a logical way, without emotion. You understand that things have to change and you are willing to move forward to let the changes happen. You will accomplish your goals by using your intelligence and logic – you will make proper decisions and choices to help you attain your goals quite easily.

CANCER
I chose The VII of Wands for you this month. This card’s energy represents trying to keep focused and grounded with your career. You are trying very hard to squelch anyone trying to make you feel unsure about your job. You are not balanced now and are in need of financial security so the thought that someone could affect your job negatively by word or deed freaks you out. You are very defensive, yet able to defend yourself. Use your intelligence to find a solution to the difficulties you are having – if its gossip behind your back, find out who started it and confront the person and tell them to stop. There is clear sailing, harmony and peace ahead of you if you deal with this issue(s) head on. If you pretend them away, it will be a recurring them the whole month. It would also be a good idea to rest, take care of yourself, eat properly and have the physical you keep putting on hold.

LEO
I chose Queen of Cups Reversed for you this month. This card’s energy represents someone who is in love with love. You need to stop living in a little fantasy world and see your life in a realistic manner. Things are not always the way you see them or how you see people. You idealize or idolize others and get so disappointed when they don’t meet your expectations. You are such an intelligent person, but need the love and attention from a romantic partner. You tend to be a sucker in relationships (too giving, caring, loving, generous, kind, honest, truthful, etc.) and are usually the one who gets hurts. People can take advantage of you so easily, so start learning how to say no to people so you don’t wind up doing a million things on your personal time that don’t have anything to do with you. Be strong and determined to have an organized, clutter free and happy life. Look to the future for a strong romantic partner coming your way.

VIRGO
I chose Ten of Wands Reversed for you this month. This card’s energy represents too much scattered energy for you to accomplish much. You are running around like a chicken without its head, but in reality, you are running in circles. You are overburdened, overwhelmed, indecisive and really have a problem not being at home more to enjoy your family; however, you feel if you were home, you could be at work making money to support and protect your family. You are stuck in a rut and don’t see all of the wonderful opportunities ahead of you. Delegate work, put things on the back burner, ask for assistance, and take time off from your hectic schedule to spend quality time with those you love. There are very clear blue skies ahead meaning that all will work out exactly the way you planned if you keep a cool head and stick to your plans.

LIBRA
I chose VI of Pentacles card for you this month. This card’s energy represents someone else getting the attention, raise, praise, or acknowledgment. With this energy, you are to sit back and see what is going on around you. You need to rest and take note of your behavioral patterns. If you deal with issues that come up in a very professional manner, you will go far. If you, on the other hand, are jealous about someone else’s success or think you were more qualified for that promotion, you will be perceived as being petty and unprofessional. You feel as if life isn’t fair when you constantly try to balance life and make everyone feel special. You have to realize that someone who is in charge of your finances (boss, employer, husband, estate, etc.) is actually trying to help by giving out attention or money to those (s)he feels may need it now. The point isn’t that you don’t deserve it, it’s just (s)he doesn’t feel you need it now. Your professionalism about these types of situations will make you go far.

SCORPIO
I chose V of Cups Reversed for you this month. This card’s energy represents competition energy around you. If you are seeking new employment, this would be a great time to send out that resume because you will be the one who stands out or shines in the scheme of things. If you truly want that job, you will get it. If you are having health issues, it shows that you will conquer them and move forward even though you may have been taking a roundabout way of getting to the end of your concerns. You are moving forward with many good opportunities to choose from, so just plan your future and move towards your goal every day.

SAGITTARIUS
I chose V of Wands for you this month. This card’s energy represents some depressing or sad energy around you. It could be an exhausting or overwhelming time with little help and you do everything. Negativity will stick to you unless you are very positive now. You may be looking in the wrong direction (towards the past) and being melancholy about past loves, when you had a different life or other people in it who you really cared about, but this card represents that there will be other opportunities for love, happiness, prosperity and joy, but you have to grab them or they will pass you by. Try to be more intellectual now rather than emotional; you are your own worst energy when your emotions take hold. The positive energy awaits you, so move forward knowing that better days are coming.

CAPRICORN
I chose XI of Wands for you this month. This card’s energy represents too much worry around you. You seem to worry about everyone and everything. These are not all your problems so you do have to let some of this worry go. The more you worry, the more negative energy you attract. You are too much of a sucker (too giving, caring, loving, kind, generous, honest, etc.) and even that is a worry now as you know people are taking advantage of you but you still don’t know how to stop it. Your thoughts will burden you more and more unless you make it a point to start living one day at a time and handling one issue at a time until all of them are completed. If you handle just one issue, all of the other ones will either take care of themselves or be in a better order so that you can handle them more quickly and easily.

AQUARIUS
I chose The High Priestess for you this month. This card’s energy represents a therapist. You take on so many others’ problems and concerns; you guide and listen to everyone, that you don’t have time for your own life. Everyone trusts you because you can keep a secret. If you don’t release all of this negativity that other give you, more negativity will be attracted to you. There are many balance issues you need to deal with and handle. Also, you have the Mothering type of energy so everyone is attracted to your compassion. Keep some of your energy for yourself and try to let others handle their own problems for a change.

PISCES
I chose The Ten of Cups for you this month. This card’s energy represents the happiness ever after card. What is it that you want out of life? This is the time to go after it and get it. Be proactive and know that it is the right time for positive opportunities to come to your family and you. Your family will be grounded, happy, and healthy and will have lots of fun. You are in a happy relationship at this point, if that’s your wish, or finding out that your dreams are coming together unexpectedly. Financial security will not be an issue as the universe is working to resolve any financial concerns. Your future looks bright and you are going in an extremely positive direction. Nothing could be happier for you – this is a wonderful time so make the best out of it.

ARIES - March 20 - April 18
Business and personal partnerships are highlighted this month. Be sure that all agreements or contracts are looked over very carefully as you may miss something that you were unaware that you agreed to. In personal partnerships, any agreements between yourselves should be fair and take both parties into consideration. Tempers may flare so be careful about what you say as you won’t be able to take it back. Your job may also get in the way of you having enough time to spend with family and friends. Jealousies about where you are spending your time may come into play, so be open about where you are and what you have to do and include your significant other and/or family so that they feel special. You feel as if you are on an emotional rollercoaster. You feel you are doing your best for your family and yourself, but still feel pulled in many directions. You need to organize, prioritize and focus on your goals and dreams and then start a plan as to how to get them. Your family should be in on your plans so they know what to expect.

TAURUS - April 19 - May 19
Joint finances and obligations become an important issue that needs to be handled. It is always a good idea to update important papers, such as wills, portfolios and beneficiaries on insurances, etc. This is a time to sort out all the important things from the non important and to put things in order so you have peace of mind for future events. Unusual or unexpected expenditures keep you trying to balance the checkbook. Buy necessities now since it seems many other types of expenses will just be thrown at you. Handle what you can and ask if you can make payments if things get overwhelming. Romance seems unsettling and you are not sure that you are as happy as you could be. Investigate that and try to figure out what else you must do to have your “happily ever after.” Children can be a handful now, but in the long run, they will be a comfort to you through so many ups and downs. This is a confusing month so try to go with the flow as when you think you understand what’s going on, something else will happen to prove you wrong.

GEMINI – May 20 – June 19
Travel seems like a lot of fun now so where would you like to go? You have the whole world opened up to you so foreign travel seems to be in your best interest, but how will you pay for it. Your finances are not currently in the best shape, but getting discounted tickets and hotel rooms are always a possibility. Higher education whether formal or not, seems to be in your best interest. As usual, you are quite interested in many topics and should read more or go to lectures, seminars, classes and workshops in an area of interest. You feel as if you want to do so many things, but are being impeded by financial instability. A new job may be just what the doctor ordered or you may be interested in a new part time job. Start looking for something that interests you that you can make into a home based business or start networking with friends and past associates. Many changes are coming your way, so it would be a good idea to at least know in which direction you would like to go rather than have the universe decide for you.

CANCER – June 20 – July 21
Career obligations and responsibilities are handled very nicely now, but what about long term? You need to make many decisions about your career now so think about what you would like to do and if you see yourself in your current position long term. The possibilities are endless and financial prosperity seems right around the corner, if you start looking at all opportunities presented to you. Home life and career may be at odds with each other yet again. You just don’t have enough time to do both successfully, so try to make the time you need to keep things on an even keel. While things may be blown out of proportion, if you stay levelheaded, you will be ahead of the game. It just seems as if it’s an emotional rollercoaster ride for you but you have to wait it out with patience, tolerance and understanding. In the long run, things will finally get more balanced and you will feel back in control.

LEO – July 22 – August 21
Friends may be there for you, but can you trust all of your friends when you confide super secrets? Friends, groups and associations seem to be involved in learning a few karmic lessons so be sure to think carefully about what you do with these areas of life before making a commitment or taking on additional responsibilities or obligations. You seem to be very active now and are getting very nervous about not having things happen as quickly as you would like them to. You may be a bit scattered now so it would be helpful if you could prioritize what you need to do in order to make your life make more sense to you now. Struggling to make ends meet needs to stop – look towards new job opportunities that can pay you what you are truly worth. Look into different savings or investment avenues. Stop trying to do everything yourself. You need assistance from your significant other, family and friends. Let them help you as you have helped them in the past.

VIRGO - August 22 – September 21
You feel overwhelmed and your plans seem very restricted or limited now. Some Virgos are going through unusual health issues or not knowing what their health issues are. You may be baffling the doctors as well. Be prepared to go for extended testing until you can figure out what can be done to cure or help you. Visits to hospitals or rehab centers for testing or blood work is a possibility – perhaps even just visiting friends in these types of institutions is a real possibility. You seem a bit frustrated about your life at the moment and how things have worked out. You do not feel in control and feel as if you have too many restrictions, limitations, obligations, responsibilities and the weight of the world on your shoulders. Share your concerns with those you can chat with or if that won’t work, a health care professional may be in order. You need to deal with some of the depression or anxiety that surrounds you. You know you worry about everything. Now is not the time to use your energy in this negative way. You have the strength to make positive things happen and to go in a new direction. Take control and move forward.

LIBRA – September 22 – October 21
You seem to want a lot of changes to happen quickly. They will; however, perhaps you should first start by changing yourself. You tend to be too giving, too caring, too loving, too kind, too generous, too honest, too ….. everything! It is so easy to take advantage of your kindness. When was the last time you said no to something you truly did not want to do? You need to stand up for yourself more now and may even have to weed out some friendships which have been all one sided. You seem extremely sensitive at this time, but with a plan of action on how to gain your energy and strength back, you will come out ahead of the game. You can just tell those who always need you that you would be happy to help them, but will call them when you have time. You may say you would be happy to help them with xyz and then after that, they can help you with abc…reciprocal energy will give you back a sense of balance and stability. You need to stand up for yourself a bit more in an assertive way. It would be a great time to let others know that you cannot be taken advantage any longer.

SCORPIO - October 22 – November 20
Money issues need attention. You want to fix everything now, but it seems as if it may be a slow process to get all of your finances in order. You need to budget carefully and yet, there are unexpected expenditures that need to be made or handled. You are also getting too irritated about all those who are constantly zapping your energy. Scorpios need many positive friends around them to keep them from thinking in a negative way about their lives. Family may be an issue that you need to handle as we do know you worry enough about their welfare and their futures. It would be a good idea to consider your own welfare for a change; if you are doing well, so will your family. You are extremely sensitive during this time so don’t take everything so personally; however, don’t let others walk all over you either. A nice balance needs to be made between your emotional and intellectual lives. Thinking clearly and intelligently this month will help you reach your goals without any drama or trauma.

SAGITTARIUS – November 21 – December 20
Family issues can be annoying; however, with some diplomacy and compromise you can handle any obstacle that comes your way. The changes may be too surprising or bigger than you thought. Are you thinking of moving in with someone or moving out of your current location? A new shift in energy is pushing you in a different direction, one that you may not have even though about before. You have so many wonderful opportunities and possibilities before you that it may seem like an overwhelming task to get it down to one or two choices. Don’t stress over the little things that go wrong or your health may suffer. Any medical issues that are of concern should be dealt with quickly so that they can be resolved just as quickly. Creativity and originality of thought is needed to help you make up your mind about your choices. Children will surprise you and help you when you need it the most. They are also a salvation from the cruel world, so perhaps it’s time to plan a special outing with your family so you can all spend some important quality time together.

CAPRICORN – December 21 – January 19
Big changes start to happen on the home front. You may start to think about downsizing your home or at the very least, cleaning out all the junk you’ve accumulated throughout the years. Donate unwanted items to a church, charity or ask your friends if they are in need of your unwanted stuff. Cleaning out paperwork is also important as it seems as if it has been accumulating for some time. Once your changes occur, there seems to be new energy pushing you in to a new direction with purpose and challenges that will energize your spirit. You seem to be blessed now so make the most of this positive time and take appropriate risks. Your career or business may be undergoing changes that you may have been prepared for, but all in all, it seems the energy around you is trying to get you to move in another direction. The energy around you is stagnant and stale. You need fresh air, physically and mentally, carrying you to new beginnings and new dreams and goals. Once you decide in which direction you need to go, there will be no stopping you.

AQUARIUS – January 20 – February 18
Romance, fun and children all seem to be top priority this month. Good luck will come to you through these areas of life; however, watch out for your tendency to believe everyone without question. Not everyone is as trustworthy as you and you should not judge others by your own belief system. Double check things and make sure you are on the same page as others. Material good luck seems to be finally following you around after you have made some very important decisions about your future. Once you have decided to move forward with these changes, you will be surprised at how easy life seems to be. You may start to feel more creative and artistic and perhaps take classes in these areas of use this energy in your current job or home. The possibilities are endless. You still need to rest more than you do and if you would take care of yourself half as much as you take care of others, you will be doing quite well. Think about your future now and do not worry about everyone attached to you in some way. This is your time to make the best possible choices for your happy future.

PISCES – February 19 – March 18
Health issues may be of concern and need some attention. A healthy exercise and diet program will help you get back to your normal healthy self in no time. However, if you are one of those Pisceans that never worries about health, just be cognizant of it and don’t take it for granted. You may be somewhat accident prone now so do not take chances and be very astute when driving. This is a time to decide on new paths, new directions and new journeys. If you don’t like something in your life, it’s time to change it. You need to be a bit more assertive about your own life. You need to be the leading role in your own life. Too many obligations and responsibilities of others may keep you from accomplishing what you need to do for a fulfilled life. Thoughts of changing careers, going back to school or your philosophies are going in different directions. You need a clear picture of what you want in your future so that the universe can find those opportunities for you. Perhaps you are a bit too concerned about everything else to really understand that the one you need to help is yourself.

A friendly and social time should be had by all. Make your plans and then go out and have some fun. Finishing monthly projects would be a wise decision so that you could keep July open for unexpected trips and invitations. Life should be following a positive path now once you decide in which direction you wish to go.

The Summer Solstice on June 21 started the official summer season. Focus will now be on home life and family until the sun enters Leo on July 22.

You are thinking in a very practical way now and want to finish projects and accomplish everything you have set out to do. Be prepared to work hard and play even harder. You have so many things on your plate, that you may wish to reorganize or prioritize your “list” so that you can chill or have some fun too.

Lighten up and stop taking life so seriously now. Even though life may throw you a few curve balls this month, know that things will certainly get better as the year progresses throughout the various sun signs.

Watch out for staying up all night to read, listen to music or finish up uncompleted projects. Once your creative juices get going, no one can stop you. Dreams may be vivid and confusing, but this may just be an attempt to deal with upsetting issues that are happening to you in a conscious state. Read, watch TV, go to the movies, visit the shore, enjoy nature and your family and friends now. This is the time to have fun.

CELL PHONE TOWERS: OUR NEWEST EPIDEMIC

It wasn’t too long ago, that you could go driving down a highway and you would see a foreign structure and wonder what it was. Now, a few years later, those foreign structures, cell phone towers, are everywhere you look. This proliferation of new towers is possible because of the telecommunications act of 1996, section 704 specifically, that states they cannot be banned for zoning, aesthetics or health concerns. Since this legislation was written, with the help of our telecommunications conglomerate representatives, all attempts to introduce counter bills into the house or senate have been buried. Due to public outcries about the ugliness of the initial cell phone tower structure, they have become more aesthetically pleasing, sometimes looking like a pine tree, palm tree or cactus. But that may not be a good thing, because there are more around in your daily environment than you would realize. In recent years, an increasing number of cell phone base stations / cell towers have been placed on the grounds of our children’s schools, colleges, and government buildings (including fire stations), and have even been housed in the steeples of churches where our 2, 3 and 4 year old children attend pre-school. They even disappear into the signs of gas stations and flagpoles. But where will they put them next and will we know about it? If cell phones are dangerous aren’t they also?

The technology age is unrelentingly upon us. On one hand, the wireless industry has profoundly transformed our lives, businesses and societies globally. And on the other hand, we have seen the proliferation of Fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ADHD and Autism with more and more people suffering from fatigue, headaches, dizziness, tension and sleep disturbances. Is there a connection and is it impacting our lives and our health? Inside our homes and offices, transmitters send signals (EMR – electromagnetic radiation) to wireless phones systems, wireless sound systems, wireless computer networks and to the closest cell phone tower / base station for your devices to work. This bathes our bodies, our children, pets and co-workers in microwave radiation close to the range of a microwave oven.

For the past 20 years we have periodically seen news articles in print or on TV about the concerns and danger of cell phone use. So what makes cell phones dangerous to use? The invisible, odorless, tasteless, aggressive frequencies that come from your cell phone are viewed as a toxin by the human body. Electromagnetic pollution leads to more rapid aging, elevated blood glucose levels, elevated lipid levels, high blood pressure, increased neuro-regulatory disturbances, and impacts the central nervous, cardiovascular and immune systems. One only has to read the book written by Dr. George Carlo titled, “Cell Phones: Invisible Hazards in the Wireless Age” to become aware of the dangers involved. His book is the result of a $28.5 million 7 year study funded by the Cell Phone Industry who hired him to prove cell phones are safe for use. Dr. Carlo could not minimize the health risks associated with cell phone use, nor endorse their safe use, thus he was removed from the study by the cell phone industry and the industry sought to discredit him. In an excerpt from his book, “One by one, alarming signs appeared in Dr. Carlo’s research: that cell phones interfere with pacemakers, that developing skulls of children are penetrated deeply by the energy emitted from a cell phone, that the blood brain barrier which prevents invasion of the brain from toxins can be compromised by the cell phone radiation and most startling, that radio frequency radiation creates micronuclei in human blood cells, a type of genetic damage known to be a diagnostic marker for cancer.”

These pictures are an excerpt from Dr. Carlo’ book showing cell phone microwave radiation penetration in the human brain of an adult, 10 year old and 5 year old. In England it is recommended that teenagers under 17 limit and refrain from unnecessary cell phone use. There are solutions —– be sure to check the conclusion of this article.

We live in a world where wellness is often sacrificed for technological advance-ment. Cell phones, just one of the many devices of the wireless age, is now commonplace in everyday life. But who pays the ultimate price? We do, and especially our children who have now become the fastest growing market of the wireless age. Five years ago, the Disney Corporation turned down a $2 million per year licensing fee for the use of Disney Characters…they just signed a $2 billion contract with Sprint. In spite of the eye-opening scientific reports, the cell phone industry continues to grow and expand at a rapid rate with 1.6 billion people using cell phones worldwide. Does that alarm you? No thorough safety testing was ever performed before releasing cell phones into the mass market, even though the wireless industry has always claimed that its technology is safe for use. BUT, the evidence is OVERWHELMING that cell phones pose a very real health risk. In Japan you are not allowed to use Cell Phones on the train due to second hand radiation.

If cell phones are safe, then why are the Cell Phone Companies not insured —they are self-insured. Even Lloyds of London won’t insure them. Part of this is because of 7 State Class Action lawsuits, 10 Brain Cancer lawsuits, and 2 Workman’s Comp lawsuits in California. The next time you purchase your cell phone, please read the fine print. Upon signing a Verizon Cell Phone contract, hidden in the fine print, you agree not to sue the Cell Phone Maker or participate in a Class Action lawsuit. Why is this clause necessary if their phones are safe to use?

Cell phones now function with microwave technology – just in smaller doses. I ask you, would you put your head in a microwave oven and turn it on? I don’t think so. We all have been warned that microwaves are dangerous, especially for someone using a pacemaker. BUT, that is what is occurring every time you choose to converse on your cell phone — you are bombarding your head with microwave radiation. It only takes 1 minute to heat a cup of water to boil. It is alarming when you realize the human brain cells are composed of 90 percent water. There is now undeniable evidence that microwave radiation from cell phones has the ability to heat up the underlying tissues in the area of the head where the phone is held. This heating or thermal effect may cause you to experience symptoms like headache, fatigue, tissue swelling, tingling, insomnia, memory impairment, and learning difficulties. With continued exposure, there are potentially severe long-term damages like tumors and cancer. Just a 2-minute phone call can alter brain activity up to one hour. With 500 minutes of cell phone use per month you have a 300% increased probability of developing brain cancer. The average child uses a cell phone 2,600 minutes per month. Do you think our children might be in danger? In 2006, there will be 40,000+ new cases of brain tumors and eye melanoma diagnosed worldwide attributed to cell phone usage. If the current trend continues, there will be 500,000+ new cases of tumors per year by the year 2010. Is it really only a coincidence that brain cancer has increased by 25 percent since the introduction of cell phones? Studies show that brain tumors have replaced leukemia as the #1 life-threatening disease for children in Australia, Europe and the UK. Brain tumors are the #2 killer of our children in the US. The radiation from cell phones damages the areas of the brain associated with memory, learning, and movement– and may play a factor in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Robert O. Becker, M.D. showed in his 1990 book, “Cross Currents, The Perils of Electropollution”, how our human bodies and immune systems are being adversely affected by man-made electromagnetic fields from power lines, radar, microwaves, satellites, am radios, cell phones, computers, video display terminals, and even electric appliances. In his book, Dr. Becker pointed out that radiation once considered safe, is now correlated with increases in cancer, birth defects, depression, learning disabilities, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease and Sudden Death Syndrome. It also damages cellular DNA and its ability to repair itself.

Have you ever wondered why diabetes, obesity, ADHD and several other diseases are still on the rise in spite of our medically and technologically advanced society? Fifty to One hundred years ago, these disorders were a rarity or did not exist.

Other organs that are at greater risk because of their increased water content are —the stomach, intestines, bladder & testes. Men of all ages, take note, if you carry your cell phone at your waist or in your pocket, use a laptop computer or play video games, you are playing “Russian roulette” with your fertility future. It has been documented in European studies that men can experience a 35 percent reduction in their sperm count. In the last 20 years alone, there has been an increase in testicular cancer by 50 percent.

Children are even more vulnerable to EMF radiation, no matter what the source, for several reasons. First, their skulls are much thinner than an adults’, thus radiation penetration is 3-4 times higher. Second, their brains have more fluid content. Lastly, their bodies have not yet fully developed. “Children under the age of eight should not use mobile phones, parents were advised last night after an authoritative report linked heavy use to ear and brain tumors and concluded that the risks had been underestimated by most scientists.” – statement made by Professor Sir William Stewart, chairman of the National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB), to the London Times in January 2005. He also stated, “If there are risks – and we think there may be risks – then the people who are going to be most affected are children, and the younger the child, the greater the danger.” The World Health Organization met in Toronto, July 2005, and are warning Canadians to limit cell phone use, especially with children. Where does this cell phone reception come from? Cell phone towers. There is overwhelming documentation about the concerns of cell phone use and the negative health effects it has on the human body. What people need to remember is that electro-pollution exposure is cumulative. Just like the dangers of smoking and exposure to asbestos, radiation from cell phones is cumulative and the long-term effects may not be known for years.

But what about cell phone towers? “Common sense” will tell you there is a connection or your phone wouldn’t work. Let’s look back to the 1950’s to 1970’s during the Cold War when Russia directed a low intensity radar signal towards the U.S. Embassy in Russia. The documented results were elevated mutagenesis and carcinogenesis among the employees and dependents that were chronically exposed with elevated leukemia rates in adults and children. In New Zealand, cell phone towers are prohibited on school property because of possible health effects. Dr. Neil Cherry, a biophysicist, has measured accelerated aging, increased cell death and cancers caused by radio frequency microwaves from cell phones and their relay towers. With the brain being bombarded repeatedly by cell phone pulses, he warns that headaches, fatigue, lethargy, nausea, dizziness, depression, arteriosclerosis and even Alzheimer’s can result from frequent or prolonged calls on cell phones.

We are a society of convenience addicts, who are placing everyone at risk with every technology device we incorporate into our daily lives. Our children are being exposed to a 100 million times more electro-pollution than our grandparents ever were. What are we doing to our children, our future generations, and ourselves? Are we slowly drowning our society in a pool of invisible pollution? What new epidemic &/or “unexpected” disorder is just around the corner? If cell phones are so dangerous, then it goes without saying that cell phone towers are as well. Just like the problems associated with “second-hand” smoke, there are similar risks and concerns with “second-hand” electro-pollution that should not be taken lightly. The proliferation of our telecommunications industry is creating an invisible, hazardous pollution that is growing unchecked. Every time you use your cell phone you become a part of the largest uncontrolled study on wireless technology ever being conducted on humans.

Lots of activity will keep you hopping this week, especially since a few of the planets are in air signs. This is a perfect time for many types of activities and social gatherings including the normal weddings, picnics, get togethers, BBQs and graduations that happen in June. Some air signs would rather just go off and be by themselves to see what they really need to accomplish in the very near future. Mercury is still retrograde, so be careful about contracts and signing anything without thoroughly checking it over. I personally signed up for a company to sell my timeshare, but upon receiving the contract and being promised my $895 fee would not be charged until I signed the contract and credit card receipt, they charged my credit card and the contract was so ambiguous that I had to do some checking. I called my resort and found the realtor’s price was $5,000 less than this scam marketing company’s escalated quoted price. I left several messages and inadvertently put in a dispute in with the credit card company for the charge. An exec called from the marketing group and I explained I worked for a lawyer for 30 years and that the contract was ambiguous at best and that the charge was sent in without my signature and I wanted it canceled as soon as possible. He said he would take of it TODAY, so let’s see how that goes…just be careful as people are telling you one thing and doing another now.

There is also final transformations for everyone as Pluto goes back into Sagittarius before progressing into Capricorn for the next 15 years! We should look for transformations in religious areas, global communications such as the internet, the economy, foreign travel and probably even international affairs.

Cancerian or Moon children need their friends around them this month. They want to chat with them, exchange ideas and have fun. They may also be offering words of wisdom to their friends or siblings, so it would be in everyone’s best interest if you let them try to handle things on their own. Moon Children are reacting to things on so many levels that it is hard to pinpoint what they are truly thinking or feeling. Be sensitive to their moods. Leo children have a lot of energy to expend, but may not be using this energy wisely. Scorpion children are very insightful and know when things are not right. Family emotions may run high, so keep their exposure to any discord to a minimum. This is the way they unwind and rejuvenate themselves. They need time to organize their own lives in a way that makes sense to them.

Sagittarian children need fun and adventure, laughter and dreams. They are so interested in so many things that they aren’t sure of their limits. They may be over thinking things, so make your requests simple and to the point. If they feel that their energy is blocked in any way, they will feel insecure and unprotected. Showing an extra amount of love to your child will go a long way in making him/her feel secure and happy.

Capricorn * December 21 – January 19

Capricorn children seek partnerships now. They need to feel as if they are a part of something whether it is in a friend or family personal relationship or a project. I belong to Netflix and regularly get movies from them. As many of you know, I am a movie nut so watch movies each night before bed. I recently discovered through a friend that you can get a library card for your county and can go on line to order movies even if they are not in your own library. They will be shipped there (at no charge to you) and you have 7 days to watch them. I picked up a few yesterday. This is a wonderful way of watching movies for free. You can also pick up interesting audio books on CD that you can borrow to learn another language or actually hear a book in the car or on your computer when you are reading email or doing something that does not take up your brain power! I will be giving up Netflix shortly.

Also, another freebie thing I have discovered is Craigslist.com. I go to the FREE section and see what’s available near my town. I had gotten many landscaping rocks for my front lawn and cleaned off a woman’s patio in the meantime (she didn’t do a thing!). Imagine having to pay for rocks? I also gave away many things that I didn’t want to store any longer in my basement or attic and the people came or called almost immediately. Things were going like hotcakes. I also listed free day lilies and yucca plants and the people came and dug them up from my property and were very happy to get free plants. Think of what you can get rid of from your home or property – and let someone else do the clean-up for you! How can you lose?

There is also a section on Craigslist.com to put up things for sale, barter, put up your event or classes that you teach, etc. It’s a good resource that I have been taking advantage of – you may wish to try it.

With the great weather upon us, why not have a garage sale for some of those “treasures” you really don’t need, like or want anymore and make some money in the meantime. You can spend that money on what you do need, want or like! You can even list your garage sale on Craigslist for free.

Charities are a good way of getting rid of clutter or anything else you have too much of that you don’t need any more. I got rid of tons of acrylic paints and donated them to my local high school. I also gave old cookbooks that I never use any longer to the high school and they were so happy to get them for the home economics teacher. I had given pens, (God, where do they all come from) and pencils to the grammar school and I donated art supplies and stuffed animals to a local day care center. When the director told me some children were so poor that they did not have their own stuffed toy, I told her to let them choose first and then let the other animals be for anyone to play with. They were delighted with the donation. You can also donate to Lupus Foundation, Salvation Army, Veterans, etc. and receive a tax deductible form for your income taxes.

Rite Aid has been having an awesome sale for the past few months. Each Sunday, they would have 3-4 items that had a total rebate on them and then you sign up to their website and put in your receipt number and once a month, you can collect a check. I have tons of hair products, toothbrushes, creams, hair color and just lots of stuff that I actually bought and was totally reimbursed for. They have stopped this program now, as it was only running for two months, but keep an eye out for this type of special. FREE is good. It’s also a risk free way of trying something that you may not have tried if you had to pay for it.

Of course, BJ’s or any warehouse club is a big savings, but not if you don’t use the items! If you live alone or the sizes of their jars/boxes are too large, why not share with a friend. I am always amazed at how expensive products are in a grocery store and totally rely on buying discounted quality items at BJ’s.  BJ’s members also have access to discounted cruises, car rental and many other vacation specials.

Swap books with friends. If you’ve read your books, you might as well get new ones so ask your friends if they have any books that they are willing to lend you or swap for yours. If you don’t want your books any longer, donate them to your local library. They usually have a book sale once or twice a year and use the money to buy new books for the library. They also take old VHS tapes and DVDs.

If you receive monthly magazines, here is another way of saving money. Ask your friends or family which magazines they receive and if they are duplicated, just cancel your subscription and ask that your friends/family save it for you. You in turn can give them the magazine(s) you get. I had an old collection of Star Trek Magazines which were taking up a lot of space in my bookcase. I gave many of them away on Craigslist and the people were coming out of the woodwork to get them. When I saw they were selling for $5 each on eBay, I quickly changed my strategy and put them up for $4 each and they went quickly! You never know what people will pay for, do you?

You must all know about Cartridge World. They are all over, but I use the one in Riverdale. Fast and friendly service and all printer cartridges are half price. Half price is better than full price in my book. The quality is identical to new. I’ve been using these items for over 2 years now and would not consider paying full price ever again.

Sell unwanted items on eBay. It’s like a small home business once you get into it. I watch DVDs and if it’s not a DVD I think I will watch again, I put it up on eBay and I usually get a pretty good price for it. Many people want newer DVDs but don’t want to pay full price.

Old jewelry that you are no longer wear – try eBay or Craigslist. Also, old 14 ct. gold jewelry is getting a good price these days. I brought some old (and never used) gold jewelry to a local merchant who purchased gold for scrap and got $505.00 cash. Even though it went right out the door to pay a bill, it was very nice seeing the money in my hands for a few minutes!

Borrow dishes, bowls, serving pieces from friends or family for a party.  You don’t have to buy everything you need.  Borrowing is a great way of saving money plus you don’t have to store it long term.  Be courteous and return things clean and promptly.

The Entertainment book is a great way of saving on buy one, get one free meals.  It also has cruise, car rental, theme park attractions, airline, hotel, etc. discounts. Also, early bird specials usually means before 6 PM saves you money on a meal.  Keep mailer coupons for new restaurants handy in case you want to go out, not only will you save money but you will try a new restaurant to boot.

If you print a lot of things, you know that one of your greatest expenses is paper. If you do not need a perfectly printed item, just save your paper and use the back side of it. You are saving a tree and don’t have the expense of buying good paper for your recipes, printed items from the web, etc. In these times, you should do what you can to save the environment and save a few cents in the process.
